We had an amazing weekend at The Artea Room with nearly 200 guests celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and brunches. Thanks to everyone who joined us! Our tearoom is now sparkling clean and restocked, ready to reopen Tuesday at 11am. Come and enjoy delicious food, great company, and a warm welcome.

It’s hard to believe how much has happened in such a short space of time. Over the past six months, The Artea Room has gone through quite a transformation — from our early days to becoming a much-loved local tearoom. We’ve welcomed so many of you through our doors, and it’s been wonderful to see The Artea Room become a cosy spot for friends, families, and visitors to relax and enjoy.

We’ve been listening closely to our customers, and we’re making some changes to our opening hours to better suit your needs.

With a stretch of beautiful weather ahead, now’s the perfect time to pay a visit to The Artea Room! Whether you're craving a relaxing lunch in the sun or a shady spot with a cool drink, we’ve got just the setting to help you enjoy it.

Our courtyard is looking fabulous — picnic benches and newly added parasols mean you can soak up the fresh air and countryside views in comfort. And if the heat gets a bit much, our cosy indoor space is always a cool and welcoming retreat.

Today at The Artea Room, we marked VE Day with a touch of nostalgia and a heartfelt tribute to the past. Our wonderful team embraced the spirit of the 1940s by dressing up as Land Girls – the courageous women who kept Britain going during the war effort. With vintage curls, red lipstick, and traditional wartime aprons, our ladies looked every bit the part!

Over the Easter weekend, we turned our attention to the courtyard area at the back of the tea room. It might be a bit tucked away, but it’s one of our favourite little spots when the sun does make an appearance — so we want to make sure it’s looking its absolute best.

What a whirlwind it’s been at The Artea Room! We’ve had a few jam-packed days recently, but yesterday truly stood out – full of warmth, laughter, and a whole lot of tea (and stew!).

We recently started welcoming guests to The Artea Attic, having decorated our charming new upstairs space. The private function area can accommodate up to 12 guests.

Last Sunday (16 March) we were delighted to welcome Broughton & Brooklands Community Connectors to The Artea Attic.

As the days grow longer and the first signs of spring appear, we’re excited to introduce our brand-new Spring Specials Menu at The Artea Room! Bursting with fresh, seasonal flavours, our latest dishes are perfect for light lunches, hearty meals, and everything in between.
