The Artea Room has launched its new Bauble Baguette festive special: a warm baguette with turkey, stuffing, pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce, served with chips, salad and coleslaw. Available from 2 December.

Things got spooktacular at The Artea Room yesterday as our team got into the Halloween spirit — quite literally! 👻

Alan the Mad Butcher, Charlie the Creepy Server, Chrissy the Ghostly Gourmet, and Joanne the Sinister Server all joined forces for a frightfully fun day of fancy dress, spooky décor, and plenty of laughter.

Despite the blustery weather brought by Storm Benjamin, The Artea Room was full of warmth, smiles, and the comforting aroma of freshly baked cakes today.

Our team were ready to welcome customers from the moment the doors opened, serving up delicious Afternoon Teas, homemade cakes, and hearty lunches — the perfect way to stay cosy on a stormy day.

It’s hard to believe how much has happened in such a short space of time. Over the past six months, The Artea Room has gone through quite a transformation — from our early days to becoming a much-loved local tearoom. We’ve welcomed so many of you through our doors, and it’s been wonderful to see The Artea Room become a cosy spot for friends, families, and visitors to relax and enjoy.

We’ve been listening closely to our customers, and we’re making some changes to our opening hours to better suit your needs.

With a stretch of beautiful weather ahead, now’s the perfect time to pay a visit to The Artea Room! Whether you're craving a relaxing lunch in the sun or a shady spot with a cool drink, we’ve got just the setting to help you enjoy it.

Our courtyard is looking fabulous — picnic benches and newly added parasols mean you can soak up the fresh air and countryside views in comfort. And if the heat gets a bit much, our cosy indoor space is always a cool and welcoming retreat.

Today at The Artea Room, we marked VE Day with a touch of nostalgia and a heartfelt tribute to the past. Our wonderful team embraced the spirit of the 1940s by dressing up as Land Girls – the courageous women who kept Britain going during the war effort. With vintage curls, red lipstick, and traditional wartime aprons, our ladies looked every bit the part!

Over the Easter weekend, we turned our attention to the courtyard area at the back of the tea room. It might be a bit tucked away, but it’s one of our favourite little spots when the sun does make an appearance — so we want to make sure it’s looking its absolute best.
