The Artea Room wins Best Independent Tearoom Experience award in Northamptonshire

We're delighted to share some exciting news – The Artea Room has been named Best Independent Tearoom Experience Northamptonshire - Guest Hospitality Excellence Awards 2026.

Since taking over the tearoom in December 2024, our goal has been simple: to create a welcoming place where people can enjoy good food, great cake, plenty of tea and friendly service. To receive recognition for that means the world to us.

Located in Wakefield Country Courtyard, Potterspury, The Artea Room has become a popular destination for breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and homemade cakes, welcoming customers from across Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and beyond.

While we're incredibly proud to receive this award, we know we couldn't have done it alone. We'd like to thank our fantastic team for their hard work and dedication every day, and our wonderful customers for their support since we took over the business.

Many of you have been with us from the very beginning. Others have discovered us more recently. Whether you've joined us for a quick coffee, a slice of cake, an afternoon tea or a special celebration, you've helped make The Artea Room what it is today.

The award is a lovely recognition of how far the tearoom has come, but we're not stopping here. We'll continue working hard to make every visit a great experience and to give our customers the warm welcome we're known for.
