The Artea Room is getting an Autumn refresh

We’ve been busy behind the scenes at The Artea Room in Potterspury, getting ready for a little Autumn refresh.

To give us time to make the changes, The Artea Room will be closed from Sunday 6 September to Monday 14 September 2026. We will reopen on Tuesday 15 September 2026.

We’re open as normal until 4pm on Saturday 5 September, so there’s still time to visit us before we close for the week.

What’s changing at The Artea Room?

Over the summer we’ve been planning a few improvements to make the tearoom even more comfortable for our customers and help things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Our Autumn refresh will include:

• new tables and chairs

• new kitchen equipment and refrigeration

• some fresh painting and decorating

• new heaters ready for the colder months

• a new Autumn/Winter menu

We’ll be using our week-long closure to get as much of the work completed as possible before welcoming everyone back.

We’re also putting the finishing touches to our new Autumn/Winter menu, with plenty of Artea Room favourites alongside some new additions for the colder months.

And, of course, our popular Afternoon Tea will still be very much part of The Artea Room when we reopen.

We’ll be sharing more about the new menu very soon.

When does The Artea Room reopen?

The Artea Room will reopen on Tuesday 15 September 2026 following our Autumn refresh.

We can’t wait to welcome you back and show you what we’ve been working on.
