Celebrating birthdays and special occasions at The Artea Room

What a day!

We’re writing this back at home after another wonderfully busy Saturday at The Artea Room in Potterspury – and today really summed up what we love about running our little independent tearoom.

We were packed with a mixture of regular customers and lots of new faces, with several tables joining us for birthday celebrations.

Among them were two particularly impressive milestones – an 80th birthday and an 89th birthday!

We even welcomed visitors from France, who finished their visit by leaving us a lovely five-star Google review.

Celebrating a birthday at The Artea Room

If you’re planning to celebrate a birthday or another special occasion at The Artea Room, please let us know when you book.

We love being a small part of your celebrations and we’ll happily add a complimentary balloon to your table to make the occasion that little bit more special.

You may even get a rendition of Happy Birthday from The Artea Room Choir.

We use the word “choir” fairly loosely.

Can I book Afternoon Tea for a birthday?

Absolutely. Afternoon Tea is one of our most popular choices for birthdays and special occasions.

Our Afternoon Teas include a selection of sandwiches, savouries, homemade scones, cakes and, of course, tea or coffee.

Tomorrow is another celebration-filled day for us, with Afternoon Teas galore booked throughout the day.

We’re obviously pretty good at them... if we don’t mind saying so ourselves.

Where can I celebrate a birthday near Towcester?

The Artea Room is an independent tearoom at Wakefield Country Courtyard in Potterspury, Northamptonshire, conveniently located between Towcester and Milton Keynes.

We regularly welcome customers celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions, whether that’s over breakfast, lunch, cake or a traditional Afternoon Tea.

And you certainly don’t need a special occasion to visit us.

Despite all the Afternoon Teas and celebrations booked for tomorrow, we still have space available for anyone who simply fancies popping in for a bite to eat, a pot of tea or coffee and, naturally, some cake.
