National Cream Tea Day at The Artea Room – A Wonderful Day of Scones, Tea and Smiles
Last Sunday, we joined people across the country in celebrating National Cream Tea Day, and what a lovely day it was!
There's something wonderfully British about sitting down with a warm, freshly baked scone, a generous helping of clotted cream (or whipped vanilla coconut cream), plenty of strawberry jam and, of course, a proper pot of tea. Judging by the smiles around the tearoom, we weren't the only ones who thought so.

One of the things we're most proud of at The Artea Room is making sure everyone can enjoy a cream tea, whatever their dietary requirements.

Jam first or cream first?
No National Cream Tea Day would be complete without the great debate!
Some of our visitors were firmly Team Jam First, while others wouldn't dream of doing anything other than Cream First.
As always, we stayed completely neutral and simply enjoyed seeing everyone tuck in.
