A small change that makes it easier to dine together at The Artea Room

We’ve recently made a few changes to the layout at The Artea Room to help us better accommodate larger groups.

Thanks to a kind donation of a new table from one of our regular customers, we can now seat more groups of up to six people dining together. This gives us greater flexibility for friends, families and small celebrations who want to sit at the same table.

Why we made the change

We know that being able to sit together matters — especially for catch-ups, birthdays and relaxed get-togethers over coffee, cake or lunch. The new layout allows us to offer this more comfortably, without changing the cosy feel of the tearoom.

As anyone who visits us regularly will know, the layout does evolve from time to time. One customer recently joked that they never seem to sit at the same table twice — and with occasional rearranging behind the scenes, that may still be true.

Visiting The Artea Room

The Artea Room is open Tuesday to Friday from 11am to 4pm, 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and 11am to 4pm on Sundays, serving:

  • freshly prepared breakfast and lunch

  • homemade cakes

  • afternoon teas

  • a range of hot and cold drinks

If you’re planning to visit as a group of six, we recommend booking in advance so we can make sure everything is set up for you.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
