A busy week, a well-earned break… and a new Head of Cake Testing

It’s been another busy and rewarding week here at The Artea Room, and we’re finishing on a high as we give our wonderful team a well-deserved day off to spend time with friends and family.

A big thank you goes to Charlotte, Ella and Katie for all their hard work – it’s been a full-on few days, and we couldn’t do it without them.

We also welcomed a very special new starter this week… Alan’s mum, Carole, who was visiting from Belfast. She quickly found her feet and was officially appointed our honorary Head of Cake Testing – a role we suspect would be very popular with many of our customers!

Naturally, the role comes with responsibilities, so a selection of cakes made their way home for some all-important follow-up testing.

After a short break, we’ll be back open from 11am on Tuesday, ready to do it all again.
