Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a relaxed Afternoon Tea at The Artea Room. It’s a lovely way to spend time together, enjoy great food and treat someone special in a calm, welcoming setting.

Our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea is a seated experience, prepared fresh for each sitting and served at an unhurried pace.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea is served at one of two sittings, 12:00-14:00 or 14:30-16:30, allowing us to prepare everything fresh and give every table our full attention.

Afternoon Tea is £30 per adult and £17.50 per child. Adults can choose to upgrade to our Luxury Afternoon Tea for £35 per person, which includes a glass of Prosecco or Nozecco (over 18s only).

All Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea bookings must be made online in advance, with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

What’s included

Signature Artea Afternoon Tea

Our Signature Artea Afternoon Tea includes:

  • freshly prepared sandwiches and savouries

  • a selection of homemade bite-size cakes

  • warm, fluffy scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam

  • a pot of tea or a hot or cold drink from our menu

Children’s Signature Afternoon Tea (aged 10 and under)

Our Children’s Signature Artea Afternoon Tea includes:

  • freshly prepared sandwiches and savouries (child-friendly portions)

  • a selection of homemade bite-size cakes

  • decorated cupcake

  • soft drink - orange or apple juice, cholocate or strawberry milkshake, milk, water or Fruit Shoot

Luxury Artea Afternoon Tea (adults only)

Adults can choose to enjoy our Luxury Afternoon Tea, which includes everything in the standard Afternoon Tea, plus:

  • a glass of Prosecco or

  • a glass of Nozecco

The Luxury Afternoon Tea is available to adults only.

We’re happy to cater for:

  • vegetarian

  • vegan

  • dairy-free

  • gluten-free

Please let us know about any dietary requirements when booking so we can prepare everything properly in advance.

Prices

  • £30 per adult – Standard Afternoon Tea

  • £35 per adult – Luxury Afternoon Tea (includes Prosecco or Nozecco)

  • £17.50 per child (up to 10 years old) – Standard Afternoon Tea only

A minimum of two guests is required for all Afternoon Tea bookings.

Mother’s Day sittings

Afternoon Tea on Mother’s Day is served at one of two fixed sittings only:

  • 12:00 until 14:00

  • 14:30 until 16:30

Each sitting is a relaxed, timed experience, allowing us to prepare everything fresh and give every table our full attention.

  • Afternoon Tea on Sunday 15 March 2026 is not available for walk-ins

  • bookings require at least 48 hours’ notice

  • availability is limited for each sitting
